UniCoachify ("we," "our," or "us") operates the platform at unicoachify.com: study-abroad mentoring, AI-scored test prep, and university matching. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
By using UniCoachify, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you don't agree, please don't use our services.
Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information: name, email, profile picture (via Google sign-in)
- Profile data: educational background, target countries, study preferences, phone number
- Specialist information: university details, ID verification documents, bio, expertise areas, availability
- Session data: booking details, session topics, feedback, and reviews
- Test results: mock test responses, scores, and performance analytics for IELTS, PTE, and GRE
- Communications: messages, feedback submissions, and support inquiries
Information collected automatically
- Device: browser type, operating system, device identifiers
- Usage: pages visited, features used, time spent on platform
- Location: general country/city based on IP address
- Logs: IP address, access times, referring URLs
Information from third parties
- Google sign-in: basic profile information when you authenticate
- Google Calendar: calendar availability for session scheduling (with your consent)
- Payment processors: transaction confirmation only. We never store full payment details
How we use it

We never sell your data.
UniCoachify does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. Ever.

Verification documents
Specialist ID cards are stored in private S3 buckets with time-limited access URLs. Only authorized administrators can view these documents during the verification process, and they're deleted within 90 days of approval or rejection.
Your rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Data retention
We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide our services:
- Account data: retained while your account is active and for 30 days after deletion request
- Session records: retained for 2 years for quality assurance and dispute resolution
- Test results: retained for 1 year or until you request deletion
- Verification documents: deleted within 90 days after specialist approval or rejection
- Analytics data: aggregated and anonymized data may be retained indefinitely
International data transfers
UniCoachify operates globally and may transfer your data to servers located in different countries. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including standard contractual clauses and compliance with applicable data protection laws. By using our services, you consent to such transfers.
Children's privacy
UniCoachify is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. Users under 18 should have parental consent before using our services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately at info@unicoachify.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we may also send you an email notification. Review this policy periodically.
