Please read these terms carefully before using UniCoachify. By using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Welcome to UniCoachify. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the UniCoachify platform, including our website, mobile applications, and all related services (collectively, the "Service"). UniCoachify is operated by UniCoachify ("we," "us," or "our").
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using UniCoachify, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
You must be at least 12 years old to use UniCoachify. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's consent to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
Important: We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
2. Description of Services
UniCoachify provides the following services:
Mentorship Platform
Connect with university students (Buddies) and specialists for personalized guidance on studying abroad, applications, and campus life.
Video Sessions
Book and conduct one-on-one video sessions with specialists via integrated Google Meet.
AI Mock Tests
Practice IELTS, PTE, and GRE with AI-powered mock tests and receive automated scoring and feedback.
Resources
Access scholarships database, university information, and study abroad resources.
Platform Role: UniCoachify serves as a platform connecting students with specialists. We do not guarantee specific outcomes, admission results, or test scores. The advice and guidance provided by specialists are their own and do not constitute official admission or visa advice.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Creation
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
- One account per person; duplicate accounts may be terminated
3.2 Account Types
Student Account
Browse specialists, book sessions, take mock tests, and access resources.
Specialist Account
Offer mentorship services, set availability, conduct sessions, and receive payments. Requires verification and approval.
3.3 Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or remain inactive for extended periods. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings.
4. Specialist Terms
4.1 Eligibility & Verification
- Specialists must be current university students, recent graduates, or qualified professionals
- You must provide accurate information and valid verification documents
- All specialist accounts require approval before activation
- We reserve the right to reject or revoke specialist status at our discretion
4.2 Specialist Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and helpful guidance based on genuine experience
- Attend scheduled sessions on time and prepared
- Maintain professional conduct in all interactions
- Respond to booking requests within reasonable timeframes
- Not share contact information to circumvent the platform
- Not provide guarantees about admission, visa, or test outcomes
4.3 Independent Contractor Status
Specialists are independent contractors, not employees of UniCoachify. You are responsible for your own taxes and compliance with local laws. UniCoachify does not provide employment benefits, insurance, or withhold taxes on your behalf.
5. Payments & Refunds
5.1 Session Pricing
Prices are set by UniCoachify and are subject to change. Any price changes will be communicated in advance and will not affect existing bookings.
5.2 Specialist Payments
- Specialists receive payment for completed sessions
- Payments are processed after session completion
- UniCoachify may deduct applicable platform fees
- Payment methods and schedules are outlined in the specialist dashboard
5.3 Cancellation & Refunds
- 24+ hours before: Full refund to student
- Less than 24 hours: 50% refund or rescheduling option
- No-show by student: No refund; specialist receives payment
- No-show by specialist: Full refund; specialist may face penalties
- Disputes should be reported within 48 hours of the scheduled session
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree NOT to:

7. Intellectual Property
All content on UniCoachify, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, mock test questions, and software, is the property of UniCoachify or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.
User Content: By submitting content (reviews, feedback, test responses), you grant UniCoachify a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content for platform purposes.
Restrictions: You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without express written permission.
8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
8.1 Service Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
8.2 No Guarantees
- We do not guarantee university admissions, visa approvals, or test scores
- Specialist advice is informational and not professional legal or immigration advice
- AI-generated test scores are estimates and may differ from official test results
- We are not responsible for the conduct or advice of individual specialists
8.3 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, UNICOACHIFY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless UniCoachify and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of another party
- Any content you submit to the platform
10. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nepal, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.
